When refering to a season of the year you use anotimpul – when refering to a season of sports or some other season use sezon.
anotimpuri/anotimpul = the seasons of the year
iarnă = winter
pe timp de iarnă = winter
în timpul iernii = in the winter
om de zăpadă = snowman
bulgăr nebadam = snowball fight
bulgăr de zăpadă = snowball
sanie = sledprimăvară = spring
pe timp de primăvară = spring
în timpul primăverii = in the springtime
baltă = puddle
balți = puddles
a sari = to jump (in case you want to jump in some puddles)
a sufleca = to roll up your sleeves, pants
murdar/ă= dirtyvară = summer
pe timp de vară = summer
în timpul verii = in the summer
soarele = the sun
plaja = beach
litoral = seaside
măre = sea
toamnă = fall
pe timp de toamnă = fall
în timpul toamnei = in the fall
frunze = leaf
